Review current documents pre-audit to identify areas that need addressing

Check references to other documents as these can easily become out of date as other documents change

Check validity of contacts referenced in documents as these can change over time, maybe a number changes, and are often not identified until needed in urgent situations

Identify the relevant areas and information that need adding, removing or changing when a piece of equipment is brought into or removed from service and referenced in the documents
